I had forgotten the hope felt warmth,
Bleakness was all I knew,
Melancholy madness,
Murdering my soul.

A grey wilderness,
Journey prolonged,
Unending infernal struggle.
Grey twilight of torture,
Beyond Humanities reach.

Emotional exclusion,
Harrowing, Harassment,
Heavy on my brow,
Defined despair,
Unrestrained reflection.

But the sun shone for a second,
I hope I can find it again,
I know hope exists somewhere.
